Q: What is the GCSDA?
A: We are a non-profit group that represents 19 square dance clubs in the Phoenix Metro area, as well as some cities outside of Phoenix.  See our Clubs page for a full listing.

Q: What does the GCSDA do?
A: We have two main focuses: 1) our annual festival and 2) promoting square dancing.  Our monthly meetings of the GCSDA Board of Directors and delegates from the 19 clubs are held in Tempe and open to all GCSDA dancers.

Q: What kind of promoting?
A: We have the website you are visiting, our main phone line (602-222-9339) for dancing information, club visitations through the year, special dances at events in AZ, demonstrations, advertising, etc.

Q: When is the festival?
A: Our annual festival is normally held the 3rd weekend in February.  We have both National and local callers during our 1 1/2 day event.  We also offer a BBQ dinner on Saturday, free RV parking and dance workshops.
